Q) Why do you think these awards are important for the property industry?

A) The property industry has historically been male-dominated, and although more women are now shaping the sector in meaningful ways, their contributions still aren’t always recognised. These awards play an important part in addressing that imbalance. By highlighting women’s achievements, they give deserved visibility to those already leading change and also encourage others to see a future for themselves in similar professional roles. Better representation strengthens our industry as a whole, bringing a wider range of perspectives and ultimately driving more innovative, thoughtful solutions.

Q) What would you say to someone thinking about entering these awards?

A) I’d encourage anyone considering these awards to go for it. Being acknowledged alongside other women in the industry is both inspiring and energising, and the experience naturally helps broaden your network and build confidence.

Q) Why should people take the time to nominate women in property?

A) Women in property are often under-recognised, not because they lack impact, but because they don't shout about their own achievements. Taking the time to nominate women ensures meaningful contributions don’t go unnoticed. It's also a powerful act of support, leading to a more empowered, connected community of women across the industry.
