Chithra Marsh is an architect and Director at Manchester and Leeds based practice Buttress, an award-winning design studio working across the residential, heritage, education, hotel, ecclesiastical, and arts and culture sectors. Chithra is committed to curating a sustainable future for the profession by promoting equity and inclusivity. Over the course of her career, she has advocated for diversity in the industry in a bid to bring about positive change. At Buttress, she is responsible for coordinating and strengthening Buttress’ social value and health and wellbeing initiatives, as well as championing cultural diversity within the practice. With over 18 years’ experience of planning consultancy, Jill has advised on a wide variety of development projects throughout the UK, with a specific focus on London and the South-East. Acting for developers, landowners, housebuilders, commercial operators and private individuals, Jill's expertise spans a range of development sectors and planning disciplines. She founded Women in Planning NW in 2017 and has been a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee at the British Property Federation and of Property Week's Diversity and Inclusion Steering Group. Jill was named as a Women of Influence by The Planner Magazine in 2018 and 2020.

Sanjeev Patel is the Managing Director of PPP Capital, an award-winning, family office owned Real Estate company based in London. PPP Capital focuses on mixed-use boutique BTR schemes in which it strategically invests with a long-term view. Sanjeev's background includes Real Estate Private Equity in Los Angeles.

Sunita has 20 years of experience as an Inclusion Consultant and HR leader in professional services and corporate firms. As an Executive Coach and professional development expert featured on the BBC, she is known for equipping leaders and teams with tools so they can thrive throughout their careers. Following an inspiring career in TV, fashion and media, Sunita commenced her corporate journey at Aviva Investors. She then worked in-house at law firms Slaughter and May, Herbert Smith Freehills and Addleshaw Goddard collaborating with Real Estate legal practice teams. She has been appointed as the chair of inclusion networks at a number of law firms championing agendas such as cultural diversity and family and carers. Her consultancy Collective Insight works with clients in legal, banking, local government, charity and retail sectors. Her clients and colleagues value her collaborative style and her diverse expertise. Sunita’s work has been featured in Elle, Psychologies and People Management. She is the founder of the Lucky Things professional network for all women and in 2020 launched the Lucky Things podcast on looking after your confidence, careers and wellbeing.

Darren Rogers is Head of Fried Frank’s European Real Estate Department, advising clients on the full spectrum of commercial real estate transactions, including major City of London lettings, joint ventures, and large-scale mixed-use development work. Darren advises real estate companies, fund managers, sovereign wealth funds, and global real estate private equity firms on their most business-critical transactions.

Michelle joined Canary Wharf Group as Director, Customer Experience in February 2022 with responsibility to develop the strategy for CWG’s customers and to support its ambition to better understand diverse customer profile using data and insights. Michelle joined CWG from the Crown Estate where she was the Head of Customer since 2015.

At the Crown Estate, Michelle was accountable for the development and delivery of the customer strategy and roadmap across the £14bn UK real estate business. Previously, Michelle was the Head of Customer Experience at Santander for over four years.

Samantha is the Co-founder and Chief Investment Officer at IMMO. She has over 20 years of real estate experience across private equity and corporate finance at Blackstone, PwC and Cushman & Wakefield. Her real estate acumen focuses on capital raising, acquisitions, portfolio management and the execution of both value-add asset management and workout strategies of direct real estate, and real estate loans for institutional investors. Sam is a Chartered Surveyor, MRICS in Real Estate Finance and Investment, and holds an MSc in Real Estate Investment (Distinction) and an MBA from London Business School.

Anne is Head of Organisational Effectiveness for Grosvenor’s UK Property business leading on diversity and inclusion, employee engagement and wellbeing strategies. With over 20 years’ HR experience, Anne was a Senior HR Business Partner for Grosvenor before transitioning to this role. Prior to joining Grosvenor, Anne held a number of HR Business Partner positions, working for UBS, DTZ (now Cushman and Wakefield) and Boots the Chemists. Anne has a MSc in Human Resource Management from the LSE.

Jane Sartin has been Executive Director of the Flexible Space Association since 2018. The trade association for the UK’s flexible workspace industry is a membership body, supporting, promoting and representing this vibrant industry. Its members comprise the operators of flexible workspaces, as well as companies providing services to the sector.

Jenna has more than fifteen years’ experience of project management and surveying and has worked across both private and public sector clients. At Potter Space, she is responsible for the delivery of new buildings and infrastructure as we continue to invest and grow the business.

Bethany is a Surveyor in the Commercial Valuation department at Gerald Eve. She is a member of the Property Week ED&I Board and has written a number of articles for the publication on associated topics including the importance of juniors observing female leaders, and neurodiversity. A member of Gerald Eve's Diversity and Inclusion Committee, Bethany is passionate about challenging biases and driving positive change in Real Estate and is especially dedicated to supporting women in the industry on a number of topics, as well as breaking down entry barriers to allow for better social inclusion.

Samar is the co-CEO of Spring, the UK’s largest house buyer with over £300m in annual purchasing power. Prior to this role she was an investment banker at JPMorgan for 10 years and co-founded and ran an e-commerce social enterprise for 6 years, giving her a wide breadth of experience.

Kate is an Executive Director in CBRE’s Consulting Team in the UK, a passionate team of 200+ Architects, Psychologists, Portfolio Strategy, Occupancy Management, Supply Chain Optimisation, Retail Analytics, Workplace Strategy, HR and Change Management professionals. A futurist and regular industry speaker on inclusive design and the future of work, she is also an active Mentor, Co-Chair of CBRE Women’s Network and Exec Sponsor of our Next Gen Talent (Apprentices & Grads) Programme. She is also also co-chair of UK 50/50 Women on Boards.

Madeleine is the Senior Partner and co-founder of Davitt Jones Bould (DJB). DJB is a national, award-winning law firm, distinctly focused on real estate. Danielle joined Lomond back in 2021 to support the ambitious growth and people strategy, successfully building a scalable HR infrastructure that has seen a 70% increase in workforce through more than 50 acquisitions.

Rachel leads corporate communications for Grosvenor’s activities including its £11 billion real estate portfolio. Her experience includes devising and delivering effective communications programmes for purposeful businesses, showcasing impact, ensuring transparency and meaningful conversations with stakeholders, customers, employees and clients. Her expertise covers all aspects of corporate communications including traditional and digital media engagement, executive visibility, issues management, as well as campaigns and supporting employee and client communications.

Jennifer is a dual qualified Planner and Planning & Development Surveyor. Jennifer is National Chair of WiP; has been a member for over 15 Years and currently leads the Student Awards Programme Nationally. Jennifer sits on the Bradford Economic and Property Forum (Chamber of Commerce) and is Vice Chair. Jennifer is an elected Member of the RTPI’s General Assembly, the debating chamber for the RTPI. Jennifer is an experienced RTPI and RICS mentor and mentors on the WiP programme.

Emma is a Senior Director at real estate executive search firm Madison Lincoln, focusing on senior level, retained search in commercial real estate, and assisting private equity and investment managers attract and retain top talent within a range of market-facing functions. Previously, Emma was a Director in the RE Investment and Funds practice at M&C for seven years, and prior to this, specialised in senior level executive search within European RE and hospitality at Ferguson Partners.

Emma Long is Head of Business Strategy, supporting the growth ambitions of LGIM Real Assets Equity through strategy development and execution and as a member of the Equity Management Committee. Emma has previously been responsible for capital raising across a range of real estate investment solutions, from open ended core funds to specialist vehicles such as LGIM’s Build to Rent Fund.

Jenny is Asda's UK Head of Planning, responsible for 2000 sites nationwide. Her role includes operational and investment optimisation of the groups retail and distribution portfolio. She liaises with national government on UK planning strategy. She leads Asda Property in E,D&I and created a women in leadership programme within Asda.

Selena Ohlsson is Director of Real Estate Client Solutions at Federated Hermes Real Estate, an institutional investment manager with USD$8.3bn of commercial real estate assets under management. She is responsible for the strategic growth of the Real Estate platform within the Private Markets business at Federated Hermes, working alongside senior management to design, deliver and equity raise for new real estate vehicles, partnerships and opportunities. Selena works closely with external strategic partners and investors in the Real Estate industry to inform views on thematic growth areas which feed into the business development planning for Federated Hermes, a global leader in active, responsible investment management. Prior to this, Selena was at Legal & General Investment Management for 9 years as a Real Estate Product Specialist and Head of Client Relations for Real Assets, focussing predominantly on institutional investors who were invested into balanced and specialist property funds. She is a passionate advocate for increasing diversity within the Real Estate industry, and was recently a contributor in the House of Commons Treasury Committee’s inquiry on ‘Sexism in the City’ and its subsequent report and recommendations to the government on how to address sexism, misogyny, workplace culture and pay and progression challenges within the Financial Services industry.

Veanna is a Director at PLP Architecture, where she plays a crucial role in managing and delivering large-scale projects with technical precision. She has a deep understanding of the luxury residential, hospitality, and office sectors and has successfully completed projects internationally, from London to the UAE, KSA, and China.

Nina Zeilerbauer is committed to changing the face of real estate and ensuring anyone facing barriers breaking into the industry is given opportunities. She works hard to close the gender pay gap and to eradicate gender bias. Within 18 months of trading 50% of Madison Berkeley’s hires were female.

Emma is an experienced professional with 18 years of experience in the property industry. Maria Wiedner, CFA, MRICS Maria Augusta Wiedner is the Founder and CEO of Cambridge Finance, a company she founded in 2016 to provide top-quality and practical finance education and financial modelling consulting to the property industry. She is also the Founder and CEO of Real Estate Women, CIC, an organization which advocates for equality and inclusion, and the fair representation of women and minorities in senior positions. In addition, Maria serves as a Real Estate Finance Specialist and APC Assessor for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), a global professional body for the built environment.

Maria Wiedner currently teaches Real Estate Modelling in the Global Masters in Real Estate Development program at IE School of Architecture and Design in Madrid, Spain, and is an D&I Editorial Advisor for Property Week, the leading news magazine in the commercial and residential property market in the UK.

Maria’s career has been built upon highly quantitative roles, such as property derivatives, renewable energy financial analysis and listed Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) research. As a result, Maria has become a real estate financial modelling expert, which is then the backbone of the Cambridge Finance curriculum and consulting offering.

A graduate of Fundacao Getulio Vargas in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where she received an B.A. in Business Administration, Maria is also an alumna of University of Cambridge (MPhil), a CFA Charterholder and a Member of the RICS (MRICS). Having lived in Brazil (her home country), Finland, Austria, USA, France and the United Kingdom, Maria speaks Portuguese, Spanish, German, Finnish and English fluently.

Emma Murray, Director of Business development at Fiera Real Estate

Emma Murray sits on the senior management team at Fiera Real Estate, a position she has held since December 2014. Emma’s principal focus is on capital raising for the firms latest fund strategies and managing Fiera Real Estate’s EMEA institutional investor relationships. In addition, working as a conduit between Fiera Real Estate and the wider Fiera Capital (a c.$121bn Canadian listed Investment Manager) distribution teams in the US, Canada, and Europe. An experienced real estate lawyer, her in-depth understanding of the property market, the emerging world of tech and her business training as a Sloan Masters MSc (London Business School) graduate, combined with a wide circle of contacts is an effective combination.

She is listed in Property Week's Women's Power List, which describes her as "a world-class networker" with "a contact book full of CEOs", In 2021, Susan received an honorary doctorate from the University College of Estate Management (UCEM), in recognition of her contribution to the built environment.
