Darren Rogers is a commercial real estate lawyer with extensive experience in capital markets, joint ventures, major lettings, and large-scale developments. He advises real estate companies, fund managers, sovereign wealth funds, and private equity firms on complex transactions.

Deepa specialises in both real estate investment and development, acting for domestic and overseas developers, property companies, institutional investors and funders. She has significant expertise in complex real estate transactions including structured investments and disposals, joint ventures and all aspects of corporate real estate and real estate finance transactions both single asset and portfolios.

She has notable experience leading multidisciplinary teams on both real estate and corporate transactions and has developed a particular expertise in the residential sector (student accommodation, co-living, build-to-rent and senior living schemes). Deepa also acts for national and international developers on residential-led mixed-use schemes including scheme structuring and risk analysis.

Emma is a Senior Director at real estate executive search firm Madison Lincoln, focusing on senior level, retained search in commercial real estate, and assisting private equity and investment managers attract and retain top talent within a range of market-facing functions. Previously, Emma was a Director in the RE Investment and Funds practice at M&C for seven years, and prior to this, specialised in senior level executive search within European RE and hospitality at Ferguson Partners. 

Emma is an award winning Housing Professional with a career in housing that spans over 29 years, she is currently the Exec Director of Operations at Peaks and Plains Housing Trust and is also at First Choice Homes Oldham as an Independent Non Exec Emma is a qualified Architect and Building Surveyor Emma is currently a Board Member of Manchester Women’s Aid including The Pankhurst Trust Emma is currently National Chair of Women in Property Emma also won Woman of the Year at the 2018 Woman in Housing Awards.

Jennifer was National Chair of Women in Property (WiP) in 2024/25 and currently leads the Student Awards Programme nationally. She is Senior Strategic Land Manager at Barratt Redrow PLC and is a dual-qualified Planner and Planning & Development Surveyor. Jennifer also serves as Vice Chair of the Bradford Economic and Property Forum (Chamber of Commerce). She is an elected member of the RTPI’s General Assembly, the debating chamber for the RTPI. In addition, she is an experienced RTPI and RICS mentor and also mentors on the WiP programme.

Jenny is Asda's UK Head of Planning, responsible for 2000 sites nationwide. Her role includes operational and investment optimisation of the groups retail and distribution portfolio. She liaises with national government on UK planning strategy. She leads Asda Property in E,D&I and created a women in leadership programme within Asda.

Katie leads on marketing and communications activity for Puma Property Finance, focusing on communicating our lending solutions to developers across the UK. Katie was previously a Director at leading financial services communications consultancy, Lansons, advising a broad range of clients including Barclays Wealth, Aldermore Bank and Scottish Widows Bank.

Mark is a highly experienced banker having started his career at Barclays in the mid-eighties. He worked in the Barclays specialist property finance team and during his career has written more than £2bn of property transactions across the UK. Mark has also worked at Titlestone Property Finance and at Contour Capital, where he was Managing Director. For the past five years, Mark has been the Managing Director of Beaufort Capital which provides development funding to experienced property developers for any Real Estate asset class anywhere in Great Britain.

Samantha is the Co-founder and Chief Investment Officer at IMMO. IMMO is a residential operating tech platform, focused on aggregating, retrofitting and managing granular existing residential in JVs with institutional investors. The business was founded 7 years ago, has >154 employees across Germany, Spain, the U.K. and India.  Sam has c20 years of real estate experience across private equity and corporate finance at Blackstone, PwC and Cushman & Wakefield, and holds an MBA from London Business School.

Sanjeev Patel is the Managing Director of PPP Capital, an award-winning, family office owned Real Estate company based in London.  PPP Capital focuses on mixed-use boutique BTR schemes in which it strategically invests with a long-term view. Sanjeev's background includes Real Estate Private Equity in Los Angeles.

Selena Ohlsson is Director of Real Estate Client Solutions at Federated Hermes Real Estate, an institutional investment manager with £5.8bn of commercial real estate assets under management. She is responsible for the strategic growth of the Real Estate and Development Management platform within the Private Markets business at Federated Hermes, working alongside senior management to design, deliver and equity raise for new real estate vehicles, partnerships and opportunities. Selena works closely with external strategic partners and investors in the Real Estate industry to inform views on thematic growth areas which feed into the business development planning for Federated Hermes, a global leader in active, responsible investment management. Selena is a passionate advocate for increasing diversity within the Real Estate industry.

Veanna Chan is the Director at PLP Architecture, specialising in hospitality and luxury living. Her experience as a WELL AP and LEED GA reflects her commitment to sustainability and wellbeing. She was honoured to serve on the judging panel for last year's IWIP awards and looks forward to this year's event.
